How To Setup Email in Outlook

Step1

Click start and open control panel.

Double click the “Mail” icon in the Control Panel.

Click the “Email Accounts” icon.

Under the Email tab click the “New” button icon to add the email account.

Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and then click the Next button icon.

Select the Internet E-mail type of account and then click the “Next” button icon.

Enter your email account details. Then click on “More Settings”

Select the Outgoing Server tab from the top of the new window that opens. Check the box for My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and ensure that Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected, that is if your SMTP server allows authentication SMTP. Then click on “Ok”

Click the “Next” button. Outlook will then test your setup and once the test has passed click on “Close”

Click the “Finish” icon button.

Click the “Close” icon to close the Account Settings window.

Click the “Close” icon to close the Mail Setup window.

You can now launch Outlook from the Start menu and begin using your email.
